Zachry Zichittella, MD
Zack is a board certified cardiologist. He is also board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He graduated from
University of Massachusetts medical school in 2003. He continued his residency at UMASS Memorial
Medical Center. He was chief medical resident where he created daily lectures for morning reports and was highly involved in training interns and
residents in internal medicine. He completed his cardiology fellowship in 2011 at UMASS.
He currently works in a community hospital where he works closely with RNs, NPs, PAs, and well as
other varied disciplines. He is an associate professor at Bay Path University. He precepts Physician
Assistant students, Cardiology fellows, and medical students during their cardiology rotation. He enjoys teaching and helping his students develop strong cardiology skills.
He lives with his wife, 3 boys, and his dog. He also enjoys playing tennis, making pizza, and working out in his leisure time.
Gina Zichittella, RN, BS, MSN
Gina is a certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Profession with her
master’s in nursing in 2003. She has worked in many different aspects of medicine including geriatrics,
acute care, cardiology, and preventative medicine. She worked at the advanced heart failure clinic at
UMASS helping educate patients about heart failure. She has also worked in a cardiology clinic.
Currently, Gina works for hospice and palliative care. Her interests include fitness and nutrition. She enjoys spending time with her family
and friends and watching her 3 boys on the sports field.
